Carl Cox logo design & build
This was my first attempt at learning how to design something using Fusion 360. It was printed using PLA with a 20% infill at a 0.1 mm layer height. What wasn’t documented on this project was all the hours spent sanding and patching imperfections before paint, so you get to see the “TV Magic” version of this project. Oh Yes! Oh Yes!

Sketched (traced) an outline of the logo in Fusion 360. After extruding out the sketch and beveling the edges. I wanted to print it out as big as I could, so I printed it in 2 pieces, standing up. First half printing. First half done. Second half printing. Second half done. Clamping the two pieces together while epoxying. It’s all one, solid piece now! After patching some imperfections and lots of sanding. All primered up and sanded some more. Ready for the paint now. I didn’t take any pictures, but I sprayed the white first, without caring where it went. I then masked off everything except the tip so it could be painted red. I masked the white and red ends so the main body could be sprayed black. And… done! I could have spent a little more time sanding to get things smoother, but I’m not mad at how it came out. Oh Yes! Oh Yes!
